Thought for the day
| Love is defined differently by each individual. For one, it may mean 'touch,' and for another ' power,' yet for another ' patience.' Yet, we all sense that 'love' is more than that. What is true, is that love is a type of power, but power is not a type of love, and the power of love exceeds and dims the love of power. Fear creates shadows that ripple through our darkest emotions. The shadows tap us on the part of the body that hurts the most--sometimes it even stabs us there. We turn to fight, only to find our own shifting darkness attacking us. Whenever I feel fear, I can ask for light to reveal what is truly there. Every moment, I create my life. In every moment, I can choose how to perceive the events that surround me. Every moment is pregnant with magic. My eyes, my ears, and all my senses weave the mystery of 'now.' |
